Sproles for Martin, keeper PPR league

Postby Kardiac Arrest » Mon Aug 13, 2012 1:02 pm

I give up Darren Sproles and my #15 pick for Doug Martin and the #20 pick. I also receive a 7th round pick this year and give up my 3rd round pick next year. Contract year/PPR league. Is this a good trade (its a draft day trade possibility and draft is this coming Sunday, Aug 19). Current roster before draft is Aaron Rodgers (3 yrs), Ray Rice (3 yrs) and Darren Sproles (1 yr)

It seems like a little bit of a premium for Doug Martin. Martin seems to have a world of talent but for the 2012 season I still prefer Sproles.

I'd say the part of the deal I'm hung up on is the fact that you have to send a 3rd rounder to him next year. Is there anyway that can be a later pick?

I may be able to send a higher pick. I'm thinking Martin may fall to the 2nd rd anyway. I know he doesn't want Martin, cuz he wants Richardson (he has 2 picks in the 1st rd), and doesn't want two rookie RBs.

I would keep Sproles in a PPR league for sure. Martin is still unproven but with Sproles you know you're getting good PPR points.
