I’m in a 10 team keeper league (can keep up to 3) which I really don’t have any good keepers because they're around 50ish overall. So basically the 1st round in my league is the 4th technically, so the top 30 players are likely gone. I have (2) picks in each round from 1-3 (Picks #'s 2,9,12,19,21,29). Got a trade offer for CJ & DMC for my #2(1st),#9(1st), and #12(2nd) picks? Is that a good deal, getting 2 top 12 players for basically for 2 4th rounders and 1 5th rounder? Or should I just trade for one and then ride the draft?
You think it's risky since both of them aren't proven this year? Plus I probably can get CJ or Lynch with the #2 pick, but won't know until the keepers are turned in.
I would want to know what is available for you in the draft, before I committed to trading. If you're getting a Chris Johnson/McFadden offer, then it's because they don't believe in those players, or they have too many keeper options, and want to pawn them off on you for your picks. Either way, I'd recommend taking another look at his roster, and going with a counter-offer. If he isn't going to be able to keep all of his guys an has to throw back good value, he will take whatever picks he can get, over none at all.
