Eli, Romo, or Rivers???

Postby sbeaz » Tue Aug 14, 2012 10:30 pm

Have 5th rd pick, need to take a QB now, none of these three will make it back to me. Do you take Eli, Romo, or Rivers?

Was sort of down to Eli and Romo, and slightly leaning Romo?

Can anyone help me, give me your insight?

I prefer Eli Manning especially if he can keep his interceptions down, which I think he will do

I like Tony Romo slightly better.

His stats weren't as good as Eli last year, but he also suffered the rib injury early in the season, then sat a meaningless game in week 16.

Yes he lost Laurent Robinson but if Miles Austin stays healthy and Dez Bryant makes that big leap in year 3, I think he'll be fine.

I think with the Giants drafting David Wilson they will run the ball more, I don't see Eli going off for 4900 yards again.

Couldn't fault you for going Eli though, he never misses a game and he still has Cruz/Nicks.

Phillip Rivers is a distant 3rd imo.

While watching MNF, Tirico said that 9 of the Cowboys 12 wide receivers currently on the roster have NEVER caught an NFL pass. As a depth standpoint for QB help, that is frightening.

Pair that with Witten's new spleen injury, Austin's fragile hamstrings and Dez's... well... let's call them "issues", I don't want to rely on Romo before Eli.
