Need some fantasy guru guidence

Postby umma10 » Wed Aug 15, 2012 9:04 am

I am allowed to keep 2 players and 1 rookie from last year. I am keeping Rice, Calvin Johnson, and Daniel Thomas (RB-Miami). I am in a 12 team standard scoring league and could make this trade Steven Ridley and his 12th round pick for my 10th round pick and Thomas. So my keepers would look like this, Rice, Calvin, Ridley and lose my 10th round pick...should I do this?

2nd questions, since we have a rookie keeper every year should I get one of the two top RB's (Trent Richardson/Doug Martin) in the first round?

I would definitely do that trade. You pick up a better rookie with more upside for a cheap pick-swap. As far as in the draft, I would try to get a very good rookie, but I wouldn't go and reach for a guy like Martin if there are better options.

What would be a very good rookie in your opinion?
