Except the problem is Kendall Hunter is going to be Gore's handcuff. Jacobs is there for short yardage.
I predict Jacobs pounding in goal line TDs as he did in NY.

They didn't have too many of those last year in San Francisco...in PPR leagues Jacobs is pretty worthless. There's a reason he's there deep in the draft.

This guy titled it every league, yeah PPR its worthless but in TD heavy leagues I hate a guy like this because they'd use Bradshaw to move the chains but then get Jacobs to score the TD. Same with McFadden/Bush. You didn't see this in SF last year because they didn't have a bruiser like Jacobs to do this. Bush will do the same type scenario in Chicago.

I can buy Jacobs as a flier in TD-Heavy leagues for a handful of vulture scores, but that doesn't make him a handcuff. If Gore goes down Jacobs roll doesn't change at all. That's all I was saying.
San Fran had a designated Bruiser, he was just downright awful. His name is Anthony Dixon and he'll be on the unemployment line in a couple weeks.

UPDATE: Redman says the MRI went well and he hopes to be back at practice next week. I'd keep an eye on when and how he practices but if healthy for the regular season, I still like the Redman/Mendenhall combo to pick up a middle round RB2 duo. The combo won't put up Forte numbers but getting any kind of RB2 numbers from rounds 6 and down isn't easy.
Go Bears!

i like reggie wayne in round 7. People forget he's getting a qb upgrade from last year. and they will be throwing a ton. Also looking for Austin Collie late in the draft. He had 5 catches in a quarter last week, seems to be a favorite of Luck and rookie Qbs tend to lock in on 1 WR. Maybe Meachum late as well.
