I am in a dynasty league and traded Peyton Manning for Ryan Fitzpatrick, one 2nd round pick, and two 3rd round picks. Fair trade?

To anyone else looking at this... I have Cam Newton as my starter so I didn't trade my starter for Fitzpatrick

BurritoBoy wrote:Its a pretty good deal, especially when you consider it is a dynasty league. Manning is 36!! and won't be around much longer. You flipped your backup for another guy, but you also got 3 very important picks that you can use to build more youth or flip them for a stud.
That's how I was looking at it. Fitzpatrick is 29 so I prob got another 4-6 years out of him if I keep him.

On the flipside to what others are saying... Peyton's looked kind of shot in preseason. I say moving him right now, when his value is decently high, is the right move. Sure you could get more for him if he plays well down the line, but you just flipped an old man for a younger old man, and some good picks. Definitely a win there.

Definitely worth it. I'd say you got the needed value for Manning just in picks alone, plus you got a decent backup with it. Nicely done.
