Looking for 3 keeper league strategy advice. Brand new leagu

Starting a 3 keeper league this year and haven't been able to find any help with a strategy. I have played in a bunch of redraft leagues but never a 3 keeper. I was thinking if im drafting in the top three spots to go for rice/mccoy/foster. After that if i draft 4-10 I was going to go for rodgers/brady. And then my second pick go for a elite wr calvin/jennings/jones/white or nicks. Not sure if that if the best way to go. Any thoughts or opinions are welcomed because it is crucially I have a great draft since its the first year. 1 qb/2 rb/2 wr/1 te/1 flex/1pk/ 1 def. 4pt tds for passing and 6 for catch or rush. We can keep payers for unlimited amount of time and it does not take a draft pick away the next year.
