Rodgers or Brady

Postby myke612 » Sun Aug 19, 2012 2:49 pm

In a 12 team .5ppr passing tds -4pts, rec tds-6pts. Definetly scared to start the season with Romo as my starter with all the injuries in Dallas. The teams that own Rodgers and Brady both need wr help and I actually have a little depth. Do you like Romo and Roddy white for Rodgers or Romo and Dez Bryant for Brady better?
My roster
Starter
QB-Romo
RB-McCoy , Charles
WR-Roddy White, Dez Bryant Brandon Marshall
TE-Graham
Flex-Maclin
Bench
Alshon Jeffrey , Cobb, Hillis, Turbin, Bradford
This is a deep league with limited waiver wire as we have 24 roster spots(IDP also)

I don't think it matters.

I'd test the water and see if the Brady/Rodgers team are interested at all. My guess says they won't be.

What does his roster look like? That would help the most so we can asses strengths (QB it seems) and his weaknesses. The numbers between those 2 will be very similar, so I don't think you have to change which WR you trade him depending on who you want. Like Namaste says, test the waters, see if he's interested. See what he would want for Brady/Rodgers. If I were you I'd rather dump Dez than White, but there are a lot of people in the Cafe that are really high on Dez. I am not.

I agree. If you can pull off the trade with Dez that would be the better one for you. I would go for it if the other team was down.

Wow. I love that trade for you. Collie has a lot of upside this year if he can stay healthy. Upgraded your QB by a bunch too.

My gut says both Brady and Brees outscore Rodgers this year. Also, nice trade.

Congratulations on semi-trade rape. Dez is a monster, but Romo looks super uncomfortable and is holding onto the ball for days. Granted, it's only preseason. Collie will be solid if he stays on the field.
