Trade Advice

So here is the offer:

My:

Lesean McCoy - RB (Phi)
Desean Jackson -WR (Phi)

For:

Demaryius Thomas - WR (Den)
Maurice Jones Drew - RB (Jac)
Mark Ingram - RB (NO)

This guy is an Eagles fan and this is his third offer and the first one I'm considering. I think Thomas could have a better than average season with the introduction of Peyton and I've never considered MJD a bad back but it seems like a risk that I may not need to take. Plus Ingram would give me a better guy off the bench than David Wilson RB (NYG) or Demarco Murray RB (DAL).

Hey I'm sorry but did you say Ingram would be a better guy off the bench than Murray? I feel like you may have mis-typed that part.

Well not a typo, just I have had past success with Ingram. But after a second look, he's not the back that Murray is. Guess that makes this discussion much easier unless someone thinks Thomas is going to be anywhere close to DeSean.

Thanks for making me take a second look.

I'm glad SameSongNDance said that, because I was about to question your thoughts on that.

I actually like Thomas more than Jackson this year. Maclin is the only Eagles wideout that I want, I think his skills are better than Djax.

It isn't a bad deal if you trust MJD to return in good shape as well as remain healthy. He's been a top fantasy RB for the past couple years, the reason he falls on draft boards is because of the questions that he has.
