Just had our draft last night and am curious how you think my team stacks up / where I need help. Below is my current roster:
12-team league
QB: Eli, Big Ben RB: Rice, T-Rich, Martin, Reggie Bush, David Wilson, Hillman, Powell WR: A.J. Green, Demaryius Thomas, VJax, Wright, Jeffery, LaFell, Stephen Hill TE: A. Hernandez K: n/a (will drop someone for a kicker before season) D: BUF
It's tough to say. Outside of Rice and Eli, you don't really have many safe picks. Most of those are boom or bust to a certain extent. I have faith in your RBs though, at least two-three of them should be good. I'm hoping for a resurgent Vincent Jackson so I think that was a good pick. Overall I'd say you've got a decent team with potential to be very good.
You're right there with most teams. You look pretty solid, and it looks like a competitive team in a 12-team league. You have solid flex options, and good depth at every position. If Richardson and Martin both play up to expectations, then you will be sitting pretty. Other than kicker, you look like you can avoid any major moves until the real games begin.
If the rookie RBs come through like they should (they never really do though) then you have a very strong RB corps. I do think AJ Green elevates to the top 10 this year, and if Thomas and Manning can get on the same level of a connection as Manning/Wayne, he oculd be lethal. Your weakest spot is WR, but you have a bunch of depth there with plenty of high upside guys (LaFell, Wright, Jefferey). If any of those 3 have the type of year they are expected to, you will be fine. Or you could package a couple to a guy who has a stud or 2 but no depth.
For a 12 team league, this is a pretty competitive team, not knowing how the other rosters look.
