Making this deal makes sense if you think the WR depth could use help. I agree with this and would move the weakest WR link (s) in your roster. Preferably Lance Moore. Keep Boldin but if the other owner presses for him, let him loose. VJax immediately improves your depth. You will be besieged with trade requests. Book it! You have a lot of good WRs. The QB is either Fitzy or Ponder? Well, I have drafted them both and consider them decent options. Which will throw more because the scheme dictates it and because the running game is not as much a part of the scheme as other teams? Fitzy has FJax and Spiller but he throws the ball a lot. Ponder will have to throw a lot as well even when AP gets back. They will have to work him back slowly and Gerhart will get a shot to carry the load here and there. Ponder has Harvin and Rudolph pass catching basically. Fitzy has Fjax, Spiller, Jones, Nelson, and S Johnson. Go for Fitzy and take your chances there.

Hope that helps. Keep me up to speed on how this goes.

If you can send over your weakest WR, possibly, but I'll caution you to grab Vjax and here's why..

Firstly, it's known WRs don't make the easiest transitions to new teams, learning the playbook and all the jazz usually leads to a slow starts. Aside from this though, the stats don't lie. Vjax is one trick pony, all he can do is go vertical. Rivers YPA was around 8+ with Vjax in town. Freeman has a YPA somewhere closer to 6. He doesn't like to air it out nearly as much and will fail to be able to utilize Vjax. The real winner in TB will be Mike Williams this year going underneath. IMO, Vjax does not finish top 20 in receiving this year.

I can in fact send my weakest WR (he is really weak at the QB position) and I think I will send Boldin just as a personal preference. To me there is just something about sending away a receiver with Brees at the helm that doesn't make much sense.

Here's my rationale for what I said.
I have played both guys 2 yrs in a row. Boldin is a possession rcvr which basically means he is an option for Flacco but it's all about moving the chains. Been awhile .since I've seen him used as a deep threat if ever. That would be Torrey Smith now.

Brees spreads the ball around. It could be like watching paint dry to see Moore get points. He's a great example of boom or bust. You got Graham, Colston, and Devery then.....
Lance. He's a guy that could get you a TD or 4/40 yds. Coin flip

Honestly I don't think it will matter because another trade I might do will involve me trading away Fred Davis so I might pick up Celek and drop the WR that I don't trade away. If the two trades go through my roster would be

QB: Michael Vick, Jake Locker, Ryan Fitzpatrick
RB: Chris Johnson, Trent Richardson, Peyton Hillis, Michael Bush, Ben Tate, James Starks
WR: Julio Jones, Dez Bryant, Vincent Jackson, Denarius Moore, Eric Decker
TE: Aaron Hernandez, Brent Celek
PK: Dan Bailey
TD: Philadelphia Eagles, Jacksonville Jaguars

(The other trade will only happen if Dez Bryant's injury is said to not affect his regular season too much) if it ends up that it will then i will do a defense trade and end up with

QB: Michael Vick, Jake Locker, Ryan Fitzpatrick
RB: Chris Johnson, Trent Richardson, Peyton Hillis, Michael Bush, Ben Tate, James Starks
WR: Julio Jones, Marques Colston, Vincent Jackson, Denarius Moore, Eric Decker
TE: Aaron Hernandez, Brent Celek
PK: Dan Bailey
TD: Philadelphia Eagles, Buffalo Bills

What do you think of those two? (the only problem with the Bryant trade is that it creates a bye-week problem)

Looked like Dez for Colston. Don't do it if you don't have to
Production and upside is on your side.

Nope

Cutler could have a big year with a legitimate WR and one who he has chemistry with. Also he has his old OC from Denver.

Vick got a bit banged up last night as well.

I must've missed something on that because I didn't see Fred Davis in the trade offer. That is always a good move if he is going for Hillis. If you were saying the Defenses are changing too in the deal (Bills vs. Jags), then the Bills would be a slightly better option from a ranking standpoint. The Jags D is better than their offense if that means anything You can't really fail with Dez over Colston either.

So after all that, how does your trade offer look to ya?
