Draft HELP!!!!! WHIR

Postby umma10 » Mon Aug 20, 2012 4:30 pm

I'm in a 14 team league and it's standard yahoo scoring except that QB passing TD's are worth 6pts. I have the 3rd pick and feel Rodgers/Brady/Brees will fall to me. My question is for standard yahoo scoring non-ppr w/ passing TD's worth 6 points, rate the top 3 players.

I think I would still take one of the big 3 RBs, Foster or Rice. I'm sure that Rodgers will go in the top 3. But if Foster then Rice go 1-2, I won't fault you for going Rodgers.

I don't have any super-spectacular insight on that one. I agree with Burrito. Depends on who you're drafting with, they might take Rodgers at one. Seen it a hundred times and you should get a top flight RB if possible, whether Foster, Rice, or McCoy. But taking Rodgers at three is not a bad thing.

Upon reflection, I would take Shady if he is (and he should be). That kind of production is hard to pass up. Your call, brother!

I would say Rodgers, brees and then Brady but I would as well try to get a guy like McCoy

This particular question has been argued to death on here. I came to the conclusion that in a 6PT per passing TD league, if you think the top 5 QBs will again come close to 5,000 yards 40TD totals, than you have an argument for taking a QB at top 3 instead of one of the big 3. Yes, I know there is a premium on RBs this year. It''s tough, but if you grab the dude who puts up those kinds of stats (40+ TDS), you are looking at 500+ points. Personally, I'd go with a RB because I believe the QB pool is deep this year and I'll never take a QB early, but that's my own ideology at work. In the end, you have an argument to go either way, and that is the beauty of fantasy football.

I'd rate the QBs in this order: Rodgers, Brady, and Brees. Being that you're picking 3rd, I'd take Arian Foster or Ray Rice before those QBs but taking one of those QBs would still be great.

please help me out with mine:
