Draft Position... WHIR

Hey guys,

I'm drafting 11th in a 12 person league. Rules are standard other than .5 ppr.

I've got Ray Rice as a keeper. Basically: I want DMC and I'm in an ESPN league so it can happen. With the keepers that are gone, DMC is sitting at 16th in the pecking order. That said.... I know my league mates and I think the two in front of me are probably the most likely to take DMC early. The 8th pick has offered me this: I can have the 8th if I take his position for 1st, 2nd and 4th slots. Basically, it almost guarantees that I'd end up with DMC, but it also moves me down three picks in the 2nd and the 4th. If I don't trade with him... there's maybe a 40% chance I get him anyway, but more likely I'd end up with someone like ADP or Charles. What do you guys think here... worth it?

First off, I'll say that I'm not a DMC fan. Way too risky for my liking, as he's been injured every year of his career as opposed to Charles who's proven he can go seasons staying healthy (and has looked back to form in pre-season).

However, if DMC is your guy, moving back 3 spots in the 2nd and 4th is a very small price to pay.

cool I appreciate the feedback. Anyone else agree with this? I just want some consensus before I pull the trigger.
