Sitting at #6 and I'm debating between 2....

Postby K.Rieske » Wed Aug 22, 2012 8:55 pm

This is null and void if either: Foster, Rice, McCoy, Rodgers or Brady is available.

If I'm in that situation, I'm stuck between Brees or CJ2K. I know the RB depth is shallow and I can get a QB in the later rounds. However, my league's top 5 scorers last year were QBs. Do I take the safe bet in Brees, or take the slight risk with Johnson at 6?

I would take the risk and take CJ?K. I think you can get either Stafford and Newton in round two and if not I think Matt Ryan is a nice value.

The top scorers in every league, regardless of format (unless it's something ludicrous like 1PT per rushing attempt) will always be QBs. It's how they perform relative to each other, not other positions, that is important. You said it yourself the RB pool is shallow this year, take CJ.

My strategy would be Rb/WR/WR/QB. I would personally take Mcfadden over CJ1K. I know its risky, but sometimes you have to take chances.

Im in the same position and its hard to decide. I think you have to take RB in 2 of the 1st three rounds. After that 3rd round it gets dicey. I was leaning RB but now I am thinking QB i.e Brees, Rodgers, Brady.

I think the Top 7 should be locked....all others are reaches...I would say your choice is between the last of the 3 rb's, 3qb's and Calvin.......all discussions start @ #8.....don't overthink it....

Good Luck!!
