Hey all, I just finished off my draft and am comfortable with my team, but wanted to see what other people though.
QB:Matt Ryan RB1:Arian Foster RB2:Darren McFadden WR1:Jordy Nelson WR2:Steve Smith Flex:Demarco Murray TE:Fred Davis DST:Steelers K:Matt Bryant
BN:Doug Martin BN:Jeremy Maclin BN:Reggie Wayne BN:Denarius Moore BN:Jay Cutler
I do have a few questions, and can help in response if anyone wants to help...
1.)Should I have a backup QB in a 8 team league, or is this wasted benchspace? 2.)Due to Moore's hammy issues, should I just drop him and pickup a backup RB (pretty much all of them are avail except Tate,Gerhart, Hillis, and M. Bush.....hell, even some timeshare RBs are avail like Ridley, Ingram, Deangelo Williams), or maybe a healthier WR?
good team from the looks of it. Have not played in 8 team league b4, but should get you wins. as far as b/u qb. I say get a good b/u qb, te, then rb, wr, wr on ur bench. gives you 4 backs, 4wr and depth in case folks get injured or have byes.
Amazing RBs. Three first rounders in a 12 team league. I'd be leery of your WRs. I like Nelson and Smith, but would probably feel more comfortable with them as a #2. Your RBs may offset it, though. Points are points.
If Mcfadden and Foster stay healthy they may win you the league by themselves. You're extremely deep at running back I would look to move Murray or Martin at some point for a stud TE or a #1 wr like Green or Jones but I'm big on those guys.
I don't think you need a backup qb in an 8 team league they'll be someone available during your bye week. Moore isn't worth owning an 8 team league in my opinion.
In an 8 team league you really don't need a backup QB because the waiver wire should still have plenty available.
Your starting RBs/Flex are good, but with only Martin, who is unproven on the bench you are a little light. I would drop Cutler and pickup Ridley as some insurance if one of your starters go down.
As far as WR goes, you are a little light in strong WR1, but it is such a deep position, I would pay close attention to waivers.
