I have the 2nd pick in a standard league. Assuming foster goes 1st, I was set on McCoy. Are durability issues too big of a concern to take McFadden? Dude is a beast and is going to have a monster year if healthy. Would I be making mistake if I took McFadden?
And by the way I'm huge steelers fan and just can't pick rice.
McCoy and there shouldn't be any hesitation. McFadden isnt even in the top 5 for me. He has never played more than 13 games. It just isnt worth it. McCoy is a stud, who has a knack for avoiding tackles and getting out of bounds, this is pretty key to his success and health.
McFadden's upside make's you ponder between him and CJ4.24, sure but McCoy's upside is just about as high with his floor being much much higher. This shouldn't be debatable.

That's actually, quite interesting. It may have something to do with OAK continually coming out saying how they plan to use DMC a lot, in all facets of the game. IMO it's a pretty retarded approach for a guy who's never finished a season. As a DMC owner in one of my leagues, I WANT them to spell him with Goodson rather often. I just want to see the dude complete a season.
I agree that McFadden has the potential to be the best rb in the league if he could stay healthy. Too risky at #2 pick though. Don't try to be a hero, take the sure safe pick early.
