Getting value for M. Turner (WHIR)

Postby JRock22 » Sun Aug 26, 2012 8:50 pm

I keep getting offered a deal for Michael Turner from one player in this 12 team, PPR league I'm in. The initial offer was Michael Turner for Stevan Ridley & Ben Tate. I didn't like the offer, and I'm trying to think of a good counter offer, but I don't know what to ask for that they would realistically part with. I want one of the WRs, but I don't know which to go after.(We have defensive players in the league as well, hence why they have less offensive players than I do)

Any help would be appreciated.

Their team:
QBs: A. Rodgers, M. Ryan
RBs: B. Tate, S. Ridley, J. Rodgers
WR: R. White, G. Jennings, J. Nelson, B. Lloyd
TEs: F. Davis, J. Tamme, G. Olsen

My team
QBs: P. Rivers, J. Freeman
RBs: D. Sproles, M. Turner, C. Benson, R. Mendenhall, B. Wells
WRs: C. Johnson, D.Bowe, R. Wayne, R. Meachem, G. Little, A. Boldin
TE: J. Graham

Maybe try packaging one of your lesser valued WRs and Turner for a WR1. I would try Meachem or Wayne + Turner for Jennings, White or Nelson maybe? If he really wants Turner he may do this.
I drink because of the 1998 NFC championship game.

Thanks for the reply.

I offered them Turner & Meachem for Roddy White. They counter offered Turner & Meachem for Ridley & Brandon Lloyd. I feel like Lloyd is a slight upgrade over Meachem. But I'm not sure about Ridley.

You KNOW Turner is going to get TDs. The only thing you know about Ridley is that the Pats have lots of RBs and that you never know who they will use when or for what purpose. The only way I give up Turner & (insert name here) is to get a true stud, either at WR or RB. Obviously in this case there's no stud RB to be had, so you have to get a stud WR.
