Which trade is better

Postby Pitfan2782 » Mon Aug 27, 2012 12:06 am

Trying to upgrade my RB2 spot in a 12-team PPR league. I have Redman as my #2 right now. Which trade is better:

Antonio Brown for Doug Martin
Jordy Nelson for Steven Jackson

My receivers are Marshall, Nelson, and Brown. My RBs are Charles, Redman, and DeAngelo Williams. We can only carry 3 RBs and WRs.

Tough call. All the draft boards have SJax as the higher output guy. And if healthy I think he is the better RB. However, I REALLY like Martin as a sleeper. Since this is PPR I think I take SJax and just pray that he stays healthy. But both trades work for what you want to accomplish.

Well first off, both trades heavily lean in your favor. It's not so much that those RBs will outscore those WRs but the premium placed on RBs this year undoubtedly makes them more valuable. Personally, I'd look to do the first trade for Martin, as it is better value ADP wise and it keeps your WR corps strong.
