Possible trade already???

OK, I just drafted and am not thrilled with my team (7th pick). I just noticed a team that I match well with for a trade.
Should I offer my RJennings/TYoung for his DJax/Mendy . This helps my WR corps and he gets a RB2 if MJD isn't ready for week 1.
Other ideas? Looks like this guys screwed up taking MJD and not having a backup.

I just want to start out by saying that there's a lot of solid RBs on your WW. I know that's not your weakness, but there's really no point in trading for someone like Mendy when R. Williams and especially D.Wilson are on your bench. The pure upside of D.Wilson should keep him off benches in even 10-teamers like yours. I would suggest trying to do a 2 for 1 first and then scooping one of those guys up (both are worth more and are going before Mendy in a majority of drafts).

As for the trade itself, the upgrade from Younf to Djax may be marginal. Don't let name value get in the way, Djax is just about as inconsistent as it gets while Young has legit sleeper potential on a high powered offense. Right now, with Jennings, you have all the leverage, I would ask for more. Think up a 2 for 1 that you're comfortable with and snag Wilson or Williams off of the WW.

SameSOng I like your thinking with the 2-1 idea. I actually planned on grabbing Wilson with my last pick (especially since I have Bradshaw and the killer show he put on in preseason), but couldn't pass up Jennings since he will most likely be starting with MJDs holdout.
What do you think about starting with Jennings AND Young (or Floyd) for SSmith? My team weakness is obviously WR corp. White/Smith/Garcon(or Smith) seems like a nice upgrade. OR DO I try Jennings/Garcon for Nicks?
Then obviously I grab Wilson

I love your team, would not make the trade. Injure mike vick, how does that effect Djax.. mendenhall....recovering from injury, won't play until after wk 5. I love R. jennings, MJD is not in camp, who knows what shape he is in, we all saw CJ2k last year....I'd wait my friend, donald brown, titus young, could be potentially huge for you. lots of upside. if you only hear the names, this sounds like a great trade for you. However, I wouldn't do it. Don't just look at name value.

Yea I would definitely not make any trades. you have a great team with solid upside. Mendy will have an awful season and DJax's value will plummet when Vick gets hurt. Play out the first couple weeks with your team as is and then reevaluate. 2 for 1 wouldnt be a bad idea either, but I say wait and see how your team performs first. you may be surprised. Young could really step up and be a great fantasy producer especially if Britt gets suspended.
