I am a total noob so take it for what it is. Where did you Draft Gronk and Welker? I'm assuming high. Both of those guys are coming off of career years and I just cant see them duplicating that. I felt they were being overvalued this year. With that said I'm sure they will be very solid, maybe even more then solid. I just wonder if you could have gotten a better RB with that 2 or 3 pick. Still with the way the league is going now I suppose you could do a lot worse then a really good TE that has the potential to put up WR numbers.

When I drafted I was still in the mindset that the RB is king, but Im starting to wonder if that is becoming antiquated antiquated thinking.

Patriots fan much? haha, personally I wouldn't go TE with my #2 pick. You should have gone RB earlier, I don't think Welker is worth a 3rd round pick,

Actually being a Charger fan I hate the Pats. That said when I chose 6th the top three backs I wanted were gone. And I just didn't like the one's left that were ranked higher than Brady, so I took what I felt was a safe pick. Then Spoles and Murray went bye-bye and I decided to go with Gronk who scored better than all but a few WRs in our league. And Welker is just a point machine in our PPR league.

I always loaded up on RBs early but the NFl is much more of a passing league than it was and RBBC kills the position. I've been very good at picking unknown backs before they became household names. This year I went with backups in the late rds that would split into starting roles if their aging / injury-prone starters went down [Gore/Jackson]. We'll see.

Your right Brady was safe and I didn't see you were a PPR league. You should be fine. Maybe you got Gronk a little high, but like you said hes got the potential to put up WR numbers in the TE slot. If he has a good year, and there is nothing that would suggest he wont, and one of you other secondary receivers hits or you get gold off of waivers and your sitting pretty good Id say.
