How'd I draft?

Postby tommo » Mon Aug 27, 2012 12:41 pm

12 Team Re-Draft league. Standard scoring with .5 PPR, 6 pts for all TDs, and yardage/long TD bonuses. We start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DST. We also MUST roster 2 QB, 2TE, 2 K 2 DST. I took MJD at 3.11. Hopefully he signs, but I just couldn't pass him up at that point. I see myself moving a WR for a RB at some point though.

Ryan, Matt QB ATL
Murray, DeMarco RB DAL
Jones-Drew, Maurice RB JAC
Jones, Julio WR ATL
Nelson, Jordy WR GB
Lloyd, Brandon WR NE
Davis, Fred TE WAS
Bailey, Dan K DAL
Cowboys DST

Reserves:
Palmer, Carson QB OAK
Brown, Donald RB IND
Garcon, Pierre WR WAS
Bush, Michael RB CHI
Cobb, Randall WR GB
Cook, Jared TE TEN
Tate, Ben RB HOU
Tucker, Justin K BAL
Chargers DST

First look, not bad. You REALLY need MJD to get back on the field and come back strong as your team looks to hinge on him. RB is your area of weakness.
Thank God for Football Season.

like latraffic said it's not bad. I see playoff potential. This is how I break it down

Ryan, Matt QB ATL : Solid pick, put up good numbers most of last season. Realiable
Murray, DeMarco RB DAL : I haven't seen enough to justify this pick, but he came out running before his season ending ankle break. Has lots of potential.
Jones-Drew, Maurice RB JAC : One of the best RB in the league year after year, need to get the contract thing settled. If not looking into Rashad Jennings (MJD's back up)
Jones, Julio WR ATL : I like Jones alot. He is great across from White and is a real talent, great pick.
Nelson, Jordy WR GB : Nelson is going to be great though, with a slight drop off. 15TD off 68 rec, is hard to reproduce.
Lloyd, Brandon WR NE : Sleeper potential, also a risk because NE has so many threats to draw Brady's attention.
Davis, Fred TE WAS : Solid TE. TE's tend to excel with young QBs so unless Chris Cooley jumps in, RG3 and Davis should be fine.
Bailey, Dan K DAL : He's a good kicker, good pick.
Cowboys DST : Solid D but they struggled last season but made good improvements and look solid.

Reserves:
Palmer, Carson QB OAK : Past his prime, decent option for #2 QB
Brown, Donald RB IND : with Joseph Addai gone, he has potential, he's still a starter. Not a bad grab.
Garcon, Pierre WR WAS : Like with Davis, RG3 and Garcon look like a good fit.
Bush, Michael RB CHI : Vulture of TDs. Behind Forte he wont get to many touches but he can have spectacular weeks.
Cobb, Randall WR GB : Meh, has a chance but not enough looks to make viable starter
Cook, Jared TE TEN : Jake Locker looks good and that is good for Cook.
Tate, Ben RB HOU : (see Micheal Bush/ [replace Forte w/ Foster])
Tucker, Justin K BAL : Not bad.

Hope this helps

looks great at all positions, only RB may be a concern in MJD ends up in a mess larger than he is already in
