As far as pure matchup, Brandon Lloyd takes the cake there, but his superior matchup is reduced by the number of targets tom brady will have.
Every other matchup you have at that position for week one is a top 10 defense for that respective players duty, so if it were me i'd still play Brandon Lloyd, just gotta hope he gets the targets.
yeah i like llyod for that game. But Issac Redman will prolly be the best option for the most part of the season. except for when he plays the ravens and are Nati Bengals.... thanks for the help on mine
I think right now you are picking the smart play here. Who knows what Cedric is going to do this year and GB has too many options. Redman is hurt/playing Baltimore. A gutsy pick would be Blackmon, but its week one so I would play it safe. Close call with Stevan Ridley, but I'm still leaning towards Lloyd
Definitely disagree with the Isaac Redman comment regardless of matchup.
Not only is he dealing with constant injury issues, but (partially because of that) he is set to be in a backfield by committee approach with jonathan dwyer, which will then be compounded further whenever mendenhall comes back.
You might want to check your matchup notes. Redman is at Denver week 1. Pgh only plays Baltimore in November and later.
That being said, it's a tossup between Redman and Lloyd to me. Redman will get the work, it's just whether or not you think Lloyd will break out against the lowly Miami team, or if the targets will go elsewhere.
