Trade for Julio Jones!?? WHIR

Postby werbs » Mon Aug 27, 2012 9:51 pm

Yo Guys -

Here's my team:

QB: Tom Brady
RB: Matt Forte
RB: DeMarco Murray
WR: Brandon Marshall
WR: Dez Bryant
FLEX: Ahmad Bradshaw
TE: Aaron Hernandez
DEF: Jets D
K: Matt Prater

Bench:
Antonio Brown WR
Peyton Hillis RB
Kevin Smith RB
Kenny Britt WR
Matt Schaub QB
Rueben Randle WR
Jaquizz Rodgers RB

I REALLY REALLY like Julio Jones. I'm thinking about making an offer for him. Do you think it's giving away too much to offer Dez and Bradshaw for him?

Well if you trade for Jones then what will your starting roster look like? Also with a different player in your flex will Jones make up for the points lost? I like your team right now and I'd stick with what you have for now. Good luck.

dez and bradshaw I would go for, but I would need something else back with Julio.. I LOVE Julio this year, and I dont care for Dez or Bradshaw so I'm fine giving up those 2, but I would need something else coming back with Julio.. what's his roster look like?

Are you sure I need something for my flex in return? I have Antonio Brown, Hillis, and K Smith who would all make a very decent flex. His team is so crappy i wouldnt take anyone else on it, maybe besides Redman. What do you think?

I would want something in return, whether it be an upside back or WR.. bradshaw and dez is just a little too much IMO.. If he didnt want to do that I would probably do dez and bradshaw for julio, but I'd try for something in addition first.

I agree with most of the above. Jones should have a big year, but Dez/Bradshaw does seem a bit much. If he is willing to swing Redman too, you might as well take him. I don't think Redman brings a lot to the table (for the season as a whole anyway) but maybe you could deal him in a couple weeks before Mendenhall starts again? Bye low, sell high.

You would be giving up too much i feel. Your team is strong at WR don't feel you need to pull the trigger. I'd wait and see how the "security" is effecting Bryant. He did have 9td's last year.
