Need to know your thoughts... and also who should I start and who should I drop (need a kicker)?
Only regret may be Mathews over MJD at #17... WHIR
This league is a bit QB heavy in points (.2 per completion, TDs = 6pnts, 25 yds = 1pnt, 300 yds = 3 pnts, 350 yds = 2 pnts) and a .25 pnt PPR league with 100 yds (2), 125 yds (1), and 150 yds (1) bonuses.
QB: A+ Brees is always a good choice , should look to have a decent backup just in case he goes down though.
RB: C+ I like Sproles in a PPR league but I am not too high on Mathews, most people are but I just don't see him as a high end RB1. I also like Benson, I think he is going to have a good year.
WR: B I like your receiving group but I don't think you have a WR1 you have high end WR2's IMO
TE: B+ You have a good TE1 and good depth at this position.

QB, RB1, RB2, WR1, WR2, TE, W/R, W/T, DEF, K My team: QB: Brees (1) RB: Mathews (2), Sproles (3), Benson (7), Redman (10), Mendenhall (11), R. Williams (12) WR: Nelson (4), D. Bryant (6), Wayne (8), Blackmon (9), Collie (14) TE: Gates (5), Olsen (13), Rudolph (15) DEF: DET (16) K: None
I just really don't think you need to keep 3 TE's. Or even 2. If you had any other TE other than gates i would strongly suggest you drop both. but since gates is currently healthy, might as well go for the longshot and keep rudolph... I like the RB stable, very deep. I like mathews, just wish he were healthy to start... your depth will carry you til that happens though... I'm pretty sure collie was put on the PUP, double check me on that... i wouldn't carry a 2nd qb despite wasteland's advice. Brees is money and you can use that roster spot to improve WR depth... take a longshot, like one of the Houston WRs or Randall Cobb or something.. hell in a 10 teamer you should take a shot with Randy Moss
any comments on my team negative or positive will be appreciated
I think your squad is solid. If Matthews comes back as the beast he's supposed to then you have have a great 3 punch there. I also think you got some solid wr's, Blackmon has been beasting so far in Preseason. Overall I like it. In week 1 I would start Qb-Brees RB=Sproles, Benson WR-Nelson ,Bryant TE-Gates Flex 1- Redman Flex2- Blackmon DetD
I would then drop Collie or a TE and pick up a kicker
The only problem I saw with this draft was taking Sproles in 3rd round. I would understand this if you rewarded a full point per reception, but only .25 ppr doesn't seem worth it. I would rather have grabbed a better RB2 that doesn't rely on receptions (Lynch,Richardson,Martin,SJackson,Charles, etc) OR grabbed a better WR1 with my 3rd pick (i don't see nelson having same season he had last year, especially as randall cobb develops and starts stealing PT later in the season)
Picking Sproles 3rd round seems to have limited your strength at RB2/WR just a tad... but I don't think it's a dealbreaker... You should be able to compete, but if it were me, I'd scour trading block and waivers to upgrade my rb2 and rb3/flex spots. for your kicker i'd drop williams or mendy...
