Is Andrew Luck worth holding for trade bait?

Postby loki993 » Tue Aug 28, 2012 10:57 am

I drafted Andrew Luck with my last pick in my draft for the sole reason that he may blow up and have some trade value. My other 2 QBs are Philip rivers and Matt Ryan. I'm sure I will get more out of them, at bare minimum consistency wise. I'm hoping on a breakout year for Matt Ryan.

So I should have QB covered. So I have Andrew Luck on the bench and who knows he could be this years Cam Newton, but then again the Colts arent very good either and hes just as likely to throw as many interceptions as touchdowns. It seems that a lot of signs are pointing to at least the possibility of him having a decent season though. So basically I'm wondering if hes worth holding onto for a few weeks to see if he does do well and trade him off for a RB at the height of his hype hopefully or drop him and grab some more depth at RB for my team now taking a chance on the possibility of a waiver RB that breaks out.
QB: Philip Rivers, Matt Ryan, Andrew Luck
RB: Ray Rice, Adrian Peterson, Steven Jackson, Isaac Redman
WR: Roddy White, Dez Bryant, Brandon Marshall, Demaryius Thomas, Robert Meachem, Denarius Moore
TE: Kyle Rudolph
K: Dan Bailey
D: Detroit

I suppose it is possible to sit and wait for that. You could also trade either Ryan or Rivers as well, perhaps for a better TE?

I forgot to update that, I grabbed Kyle Rudolph off the waivers. Maybe he breaks out this year. Yeah though that could be an option, Im liking Ryan more and more I think hes got a chance at having a good year.
