Postby Ripboins » Tue Aug 28, 2012 11:33 am

QB
RB Foster, Arian RB (HOU 8)
RB Forte, Matt RB (CHI 6)
WR Colston, Marques WR (NOR 6)
WR Lloyd, Brandon WR (NWE 9)
TE Graham, Jimmy TE (NOR 6)
K
D/ST

this is my team so far....Due to how we draft, I can get either Eli Manning, Phil Rivers, or Tony Romo...(peyton has been drafted) anyone else outside the top 10 is available...who would you take?

Depending on matchup honestly...I personally think Romo is going to have an oustanding year despite schedule. new receivers/no back in SD make me a little worried at first...he does still have Gates/Floyd but injuries always pile up. I'd wait and see how much time Matthews is out before plugging Rivers in. I also think having Murray will be HUGE for Romo. Nice little dink passes for him to capitalize on red zones!!!

My vote: Romo

Thanks. I decided on Romo as well. I got him in the 8th round so if he goes above 30 TD's, then I think I have great value there and expect that he probably will. What's the deal with Miles Austin and Jason Witten though....do you think they'll play more than 12 games each?

I believe it's the preseason blues...No one wants to play meaningless games or practice. Think that trend is becoming norm across the league imo.

Witten may not be active first few games but I think Dez Bryant is poised for a MONSTER year. I'm a huge Cowboy fan but also a critic as well. I've always said they play according to Romo, but this year it's according to their line...I think they made some decent offseason acquisitons that will bode well for the front 5. The addition of either Ogletree/Beasley/Harris will allow oustide receivers to do their thing. I think Romo has a career pass TDs year!!

I kind of did the homer thing and drafted Murray with 2nd pick and romo with 10th pick(lickily my league hates Cowboys..LOL) But I also have Rivers as backup.
