10 Team, 8th Pick. WHIR!! Standard Scoring

Postby Conrax » Tue Aug 28, 2012 7:52 pm

This is a 10 team league, no keeper, H2H points.

pretty standard scoring. Notable scoring differences:
Passing TDs = 6
Each completion, each rush, and each reception = .25

QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 Flex (RB/WR), TE, DEF, K

I think I did pretty good, basically bench and TE are what I feel are my main concerns. If you have any suggestions to improve my team please share. I will reply just leave a link.

QB: Eli Manning
WR: Greg Jennings
WR: Mike Wallace
WR: Robert Meachem
RB: Chris Johnson
RB: Matt Forte
TE: Brandon Pettigrew
Flex: Doug Martin
K: Stephen Gostkowski
DEF: Chicago
Bench: Greg Little (Cle - WR)
Bench: Ben Tate (Hou- RB)
Bench: Jay Cutler (Chi - QB)
Bench: Jermaine Gersham (Cin - TE)
Bench: Sidney Rice (SEA - WR)

I like your starting squad. I like Pettigrew since he was actually 3rd among TE when it came to touches. I'm thinking of him as a sleeper pick. I don't really like your bench though. Gresham is another sleeper pick TE that I had. But all the other players besides Tate and Cutler should be ordinary. Cutler is a decent backup QB since he's back with Brandon Marshall. Eli Manning hasn't missed a game in a long time though so that shouldn't be a problem. Tate was a bit above average but only because Arian Foster was injured. With Arian Foster healthy, he isn't a great RB to have on a roster. If there are any WR or RB that you could take a flyer on, I would go for them. But other than your bench, you have a pretty solid team.
