In our league we count return yards so with sproles return/spc teams ability he is a scoring maching. The team I'm trading with did a horrible job drafting so I think I can pitch giving him 2 starting players for one as a sway option, maybe even 3. Take in mind that on my team only Rodgers and Rice scored more points than Sproles last year. So who would you give up off my team to get sproles?
My team: QB - Rodgers RB - Rice, McGahee, Johnathan stewart, kevin smith, ryan williams, Cedric Benson. WR - R. White, M. Austin, B. Llyod, Antonio Brown. TE - J. Graham K - Prater DEF - Dallas
Other team: QB - Dalton, Flacco, Palmer RB - Sproles, Bradshaw, Felix Jones. WR - V. Jackson, R. Meachem, T. Young, Heyward-Bey TE - Gronk K - Akers, Graham DEF - 49ers
Hmm yeah definitely trade one of your WR's if you want him that bad. I'd prefer to trade Miles Austin due to his injury problems and I think Lloyd and Brown will have better years.
Wait until Kevin Smith and Cedric Benson come out and have a great couple of weeks and then package them for Sproles. By then Bradshaw will be banged up and Feliz wont be getting any touches. I'd hang on to your WR's. Great depth.
@ LAChargers: Yeah compared to this guy I've got a superior team but other teams in the league did a little better job drafting, lol. I feel I've got the best team, but I think Sproles ( if he is last years sproles) is the piece to put me over the top. He was the third scoring RB only behind Rice and McCoy last year.
@ gsnts: Yeah thats what I was thinking about doing I was guessing between one of the Wr's Austin, Llyod, Brown, then packaging one of my backs either mcgahee or stewart.
@grave diggaz: thanks for the help I didn't think of holding off. I'm thinking with both smith and benson starting the first couple of weeks your probably right about that.
Thanks everyone for the help I appreciate it, and am open to any other ideas.
