Week 1 replacement for Mathews

Postby bisklimpkit » Thu Aug 30, 2012 4:44 pm

I drafted Mathews as my top back, and he's out week 1. My other backs are BJGE, Donald Brown, and Peyton Hillis. I can also get Ronnie Brown off of the WW (which would mean dropping Mendenhall, who I drafted in round 12 to stash for use in the second half of the season). Do I roll with Donald Brown or Hillis, or do I drop Mendy and pick up Ronnie to fill in for the injured Mathews this week?

Leave a link and I'll get you back.

I would start Brown although he has a touch match up against the Bears. I see Ronnie is a low end RB3 with limited upside so he is not wroth a pickup.

I'd be thinking about starting Hillis. I get the three-down back thing with Brown, but the Bears, on the road? Not my idea of a good time for a pretty ordinary RB. Hillis is the red zone option, good in the passing game, and every indication is he and Charles will see similar numbers of touches all year long. Good luck!
