1st draft this year...

Postby Grizzlies » Thu Aug 30, 2012 7:47 pm

I had the 10th pick in a 10-team H2H league. How did I do? I think I'm weak and thin at WR (only have 4), and I'm not sure about my RB. I probably shouldn't have taken 2 DEF, but thought Houston was too good a value compared to who was available when I took them.

We start 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1K, 1DEF and we get .5 point per reception (20 yards per point - 5 pt bonus at 100 yards), .25 points per rush (20 yards per point - 5 pt bonus at 100 yards), 50 yards per passing point and 6 points per passing TD (5 pt bonus at 300 yards).

QB - Matthew Stafford, Ben Roethlisberger
WR - Greg Jennings, Antonio Brown, Kenny Britt, Sidney Rice
RB - Matt Forte, Trent Richardson, Isaac Redman, Roy Helu, Beanie Wells
TE - Antonio Gates
K - Rob Bironas
DEF - San Francisco, Houston

OK, so let me have it, what are my chances?

After getting Stafford, another QB wouldn't have been a top priority, I think that Big Ben was a wasted pick. Although, I'm not a believer in taking more than 1 QB anyway, especially if I have someone like Stafford. Same thing with two D/ST, having the 49ers there won't be any need to replace them until thier bye week, and that should only be a 1 week filler. I'd look to drop Houston and Big Ben and snatch up Dwyer and probably Ryan Williams to help handcuff the questions surronding Redman and Wells. Or maybe use Stafford for trade bait and get another top tier WR.

Rate my team please?
