Help with flex,..

Postby djhn9 » Thu Aug 30, 2012 9:21 pm

Please look at points in signature,... very odd point system.

Here's my options at flex
Kevin Smith vs StL
Dwayne Bowe vs ATL
Randy Moss @ GB
Randall Cobb vs SF
Vernon Davis @ GB
Cedric Benson vs SF

Leaning towards Smith,... since he is a pass catcher and is currently the #1 in Detroit. Not to mention StL defense is suspect
TD 6-12 varies on length, Any reverse role TD is DOUBLE PTS

Run/Rec 50yds=2, 100=4, 150=6, 200=10
Passing 250yds=1, 300=3, 350=4, 400=5, 450=7

FG= 3-12 varies on length.

D/ST sack=1, under 300yds=3 ,INT/FR=1.

The scoring puts a premium on TDs (especially longer ones) over yardage which makes this an interesting decision. I feel the safest bet would be to play Smith because of his offense and who they are playing. The high risk / reward play would be Bowe who has missed part of camp and has mediocre QB play. Im wondering with this scoring and big play TDs being more, does that usually make WRs value go up? Or does it even out overall?
I drink because of the 1998 NFC championship game.

It makes the QBs go higher,.. especially the ones who aret afraid to run it, and a definite premium on RB's who have good reception skills also.
