This is a keeper league that has been going on for several years now. I have three solid keepers in Rice, Fitzgerald, and Julio Jones, but injuries hurt me last year and I ended up falling into the #1 pick this year. There are lots of great players available, so who would you take with the top pick? Keep in mind, it's a keeper league. Best 15 available with Yahoo rank and fantasy points from last year are as follows, but since this is also a QB-friendly league (Comp=0.2, PassYds=25 per pt, PassTDs=7), I also listed Eli and Romo as the best QBs available. Do I grab one of Top 15 or "reach" for a QB?:
Matt Forte 10 237.10 Jimmy Graham 11 245.60 Rob Gronkowski 13 295.54 Marshawn Lynch 14 296.80 A.J. Green 15 187.00 Victor Cruz 21 248.38 Maurice Jones-Drew 24 358.80 Trent Richardson 26 000.00 Steven Jackson 28 256.60 Jordy Nelson 30 258.50 Percy Harvin 33 256.20 Wes Welker 34 278.78 Steve Smith 35 224.80 Jeremy Maclin 38 145.56 Marques Colston 39 200.30
I'd also go with Graham. I think he's going to be the best performing TE this year, and will likely be the 2nd highest performing receiver (only behind Megatron).

Wow, 3 votes for Graham. He's young and probably the best TE in the league (since Gronk and Hernandez have to share), so I can see that. Part of me has a problem taking a TE with my first pick though. Yeah, I can prolly get a decent one later, but Graham is elite so I get that. I think I've narrowed it down to Graham, Forte, A.J. Green, and Harvin. I really like Green and Harvin too, but I already have 2 WRs, so I guess it would help to start filling out my other positions first and look for another WR later. I've heard lots of mixed opinions on Forte, but I'm leaning toward the side of doubt with him, so he's prolly #4 on my list. Anyone else have an opinion? -Yce
Not to bump this again, but is it crazy to take Doug Martin here? Or another RB? Looking through the RB pool, the time it gets back around to me again at Pick 20, RB is looking very thin. The best I see is BJE and Benson. I can probably get decent WRs and maybe even a TE with Picks 20 and 21, but RBs are going to be in short supply.
Graham is in his 3rd year and is by all accounts the WR1 on the Saints.
He's the Calvin Johnson of TE's.
If he were listed as a WR, he'd be the 2nd off the board in all formats.
120/1500/15 TD potential.

He is the most consitant, non injury prone, great offense, young and talented!!! I think if he actually had the WR position tag he might even go before CJ!!!
Graham is a total stud.....grab him as your team already has a solid base of keepers at WR and RB.....as far as QB there are a ton of QB's this year that could turn into studs or reestablish as studs so worry about that later! (Luck, RGIII, M.Ryan, M.Shaub, ect....)
Good Luck m8!
