Just traded my entire team...

Postby thomashayden89 » Fri Aug 31, 2012 12:11 pm

Started out with this core. 10 team league, standard ESPN rules. Drafted #1 overall, was hammered drunk by the 3rd/4th round which resulted in me taking McGahee at 40 and Lloyd at 41 : (

QB: Eli Manning
RB: Foster
RB: McGahee
WR: Roddy White
WR: Brandon Lloyd
TE: Graham
Flex: Beanie Wells
D/ST: Steelers
Kicker: Nugent

traded White+Graham+Wells for LeSean McCoy+Tony Gonzalez and then traded Arian Foster+Eli Manning for Aaron Rodgers+Ahmad Bradshaw+Hakeem Nicks. Finally I traded McGahee+Lloyd for AJ Green.

QB: Aaron Rodgers
RB: LeSean McCoy
RB: Ahmad Bradshaw
WR: AJ Green
WR: Hakeem Nicks
TE: Tony Gonzalez
Flex: Roy Helu
D/ST: Steelers
Kicker: Nugent

How much do you think I improved my team by?

Worth it. I'm new, but I'd be more than happy with the team you ended up with. Aaron Rodgers and LeSean McCoy (even though you lost Foster) will make your team a contender, the rest of your team isn't too bad either. Roy Helu at your flex is your only potential weak link but I wouldn't fret over it.

We had to veto one of his trades from the other day. Guy was desperate for a RB and traded Nicks+Rodgers for Roethlistberger+Bowe+Turner.

To be honest your RBs are a little scary. I would actually take McGahee over Bradshaw. I think Bradshaw is due to disappoint and Peyton loves to call runs in the red zone. McGahee is an unflashy RB who will get you consistent points - much like SJAX the past few years. Helu is a crapshoot at flex - nobody knows who will get the carries in that offense. I would target some smaller low value trades to pick up someone like Doug Martin or get McGahee back or even SJAX for that flex position if you can. They'll pick you up the boring points you need to win.

Please take a look at mine

You upgraded, but also brought in some new problems.... I would keep an eye on the waivers for a break-out "Samkon Gado" type RB....

Good luck!

Eh. You moved strengths around IMO. You upgraded your QB and downgraded you TE by margins that are borderline equivalent.

RBs and WRs stayed about the same.

If non PPR I think the QB upgrade was great and the TE downgrade wasnt too bad.
