Keep 3: Rice/Brady/Murray/Jennings/Gronk/Julio

Postby ibweis » Fri Aug 31, 2012 2:36 pm

10-team, PPR, 3-keepers, 6pt all TDs

Which keeper grouping would you like the best with your first 3 picks being 4.09, 5.09, 6.02:

I have to keep Rice/Brady.

1. Rice/Brady/Murray
2. Rice/Brady/Gronk
3. Rice/Brady/Jennings
4. Rice/Brady/Julio

Rice/Brady are shoe ins.

Gronk was a touchdown producing MACHINE last year no doubt, BUT there's a kicker if you look into the numbers. With the addition of the Brandon Lloyd, who plays outside the numbers and is a giant deep threat, and signing of Hernandez, Gronk will not and CANNOT produce numbers like that again. It's just not a logical situation and Belichick is too smart to repeat the same offense back to back seasons. That being said, it's not like your going to be disappointed if you keep him. Need I remind you how accurate Brady is with receivers who play outside the numbers? Lloyd is due for a big year.

Murry had an EXTREMELY impressive showing, but his sample last season was small. This is high risk/high reward, which is something I personally love.

Jennings isn't a poor choice, but Julio is just.. incredible. And I am predicting Matt Ryan to have a top 5 quarterback producing season, so you know.. Julio all day!

Hope this was helpful.

I agree. WR's are deep this year, and we ALL know sleepers (Antonio Brown and Victor Cruz from last year) pop-up mid season. Murray would be a great choice in my opinion, but Julio is due for a giant year. Really can't go wrong either way.

I'm not big on Murry so while I would be happy with each possibility Jolio would be my choice. Greg has many years on him and is in the last year of his contract. Murry is fragile. Gronk I don't think will suck but won't repeat last years numbers, and Jolio will be a dominant player for years to come.
QB- Aaron Rodgers, Russel Wilson
RB- Doug Martin, Marshawn Lynch, Lamar Miller, Dujuan Harris
WR- Michael Crabtree, Hakeem Nicks, Jordy Nelson, Greg Jennings
TE- Jimmy Graham, Rob Housler
