Also, top WR on Free Agency that I can pickup: Nate Washington, Laurent Robinson, Steve Johnson, Torrey Smith, Jabar Gaffney

Is this a good, fair trade? Will this strengthen my team? I am a newcomer to Fantasy Football so not sure about my reasoning but I have doubts on the trade because:
1. Texans seem to run more now, and Andre is older
2. Andre is injury prone
3. I believe Brandon Marshall will have a big year reuniting with Jay Cutler and playing an easier schedule
4. I have a lot of depth it looks like at WR, not sure if Decker would do anything to it

But the pros of the trade
1. Andre is projected to be higher ranked than Marshall
2. Decker seems to be Peyton's favorite receiver and that means he can put up great numbers
3. Arian Foster is a beast so Andre Johnson may be uncovered

I think both Marshall and Decker will have great years. Although Andre is getting older he could still be a top 10 guy this year, but I think Marshall is a lock for that.

I can tell you what he's thinking though. You can only start 3 WRS max, and he has an abundance of bench WR talent that he's trying to consolidate. And he's trying to hop off the Andre train before it goes off the tracks.

It's a pretty tough call, but I think I'd stick with Marshall. You have Antonio Brown and Jordy Nelson as your next two WRs, and that's pretty damn good. See if he'll do Marshall / Maclin for Fitz / Decker, and if he passes then stand pat.

don't do it. He's afraid of johnson going down this year again. Marshall will be a stud.

It's a very tough choice for me since I keep believing and reading that Marshall will be a straight out top 5 stud.
Also if i did get Decker is he good enough to make WR2 or flex? I was thinking of starting WR1 being Marshall, Then WR2/Flex be either Nelson, Brown or Maclin, and I even have Darren sproles. Can you give me advice of who the starting two WR and Flex would be if I did do the trade?


Also can you guys give me your reasons why you would prefer Andre Johnson over Brandon Marshall or vice-versa? As a newcomer to fantasy football, I want to see the thoughts from pros and experienced members.

Um if Steve Johnson is a FA....I would dump your worst player and snag him up QUICK. Who would let a #1 option (and a high end #2 WR sit in FA?) I'd love to play in your league......

OKAY need your guys help on this one again.

He had made this deal sweeter by offering Fitzgerald/Decker instead of Andre Johnson. Is this one now 100% sure that I should do it?

As a huge believer in Marshall, it was tough but I actually did the trade. I will be so sad if Marshall does have the monster season I expect him too and be better than Fitz.

However, what made this deal a keeper for me is that Fitz has a record of staying healthy (knock on wood) compared to Andre.

Once again, thank you all for your help. I will probably post in a few days about starting lineups haha.

Of course you should have done both trades but why are Stevie and Torrey Smith on your WW? Is this a 8-team leage?

Yes 8 league. Smith has been picked up by the team who just traded Fitz for me, but I dropped Floyd for Steve Johnson.
