Postby marley972 » Fri Aug 31, 2012 7:13 pm

So here is my team: 10 team league, Start 1qb, 2rb, 3wr, 1te

QB: Stafford, P.Manning
RB: Donald B., McGahee, Hillis, Mendenhall, Turbin
WR:A. Brown, Cruz, Percy, Nate Washington, Crabtree
TE: J. Graham

So basically he offered me Fred Jackson for Percy and Hillis (he has J. Charles)
What should I do??

You need RB help, so I would do it. FJax stands to get the bulk of the carries in Buffalo. Losing Harvin is big, as I like him a lot this year, but with Brown and Cruz, along with Graham, you should be able to contend.

I agree....tough to lose Harvin but you need the RB help and FJax is solid when healthy which he is currently!

(I doubt he would but have you tried counter offering say Hillis+Nate/Crabs? Doubt he would do it but worth a shot...depends on how desperate he is for Hillis especially with owning JCharles)

Good Luck m8!

I'll go against the grain here and say not to take it. I think Percy is a no-brainer top 10 WR this year just as he was last year. Hillis will also make for a more than serviceable RB2. I'm still not sold on Fjax this year even after the strong preseason. You've heard it a million times but he's 30+, coming off a broken leg and has Spiller nipping at his heels. The drop off in production you'll incur since you HAVE to start 3WRs and don't have a flex will be larger than if you just stuck with Hillis where you're going to be plugging in Fjax. Remember, KC is a team who plans on running 500+ times this year behind a strong O-line. I don't like this trade, Washington and Crabtree are nothing like Percy.

In the end this comes down to who'd you rather start..

Percy + Hillis/McGahee or Fjax + Washington/Crabtree.
