Dang that AP - do I start him?

Postby latraffic » Fri Aug 31, 2012 10:06 pm

Okay, I'm one of those that has AP on the roster and can't decided to start him or risk watching him blow up the field while on my bench. 5 carries? 10 carries? Who knows. So here's who I have, let me know who you think would be a better play. And thanks in advance. By the way, I get to start 3 RBs.

I have

Foster (starting him, duh)
AP
Don Brown
Redman
Ingram
Felix Jones

Wow, that looks pretty sad now that I've typed it out. Any help is appreciated and I'll always help in return if you leave a link.
Thank God for Football Season.

Foster/Brown and of the rest I would go with AP. He is a better option than Ingram, who does't fit into what NO does and Redman is nursing an injury as well and will see touches lost to Dwyer for the first couple of weeks.

I would start Foster, AP, and Brown. Ingram may be a sneaky play but I want to see what his role is first. I think Dwyer takes quite a few touches away from Redman.

I don't see much value in not starting him, given your lineup. Felix is behind DeMarco, Ingram won't see too many touches because he will be sharing the ball, Redman is nursing an injury and J. Dwyer is showing he is a very talented back and D Brown is... well he's D. Brown. AP is going to be high risk/high reward. Ideally, he needs to throw out some 10 yard runs early in the game to show he is ready. Once he shows that, ol' Toby is going to be warming his seat up for when he get's off the field. Just my opinion.
