Gronk for Hernandez/Murray

I received a counter offer from someone asking to trade my Gronkowski for his Hernandez/Murray pair

Would you do this? I've seen most people rank Hernandez as the 3rd best TE. Do you think he will have a better season this year and receive similar targets to Gronk?

My team (weak at RB, which is why I am looking for an RB):

QB - Stafford, A. Smith
RB - Sproles, Spiller, Hillis, R. Jennings
WR - J. Jones, A. Brown, Maclin, T. Smith
TE - Gronkowski

The league is a 0.5 PPR league

I would do that in your shoes. Gronk is the better te in new England but you need the rb help. This is a no brainer in your position.

And there is always the chance of gronk getting hurt.....then you have a real stud on your hands.

Do the trade. I think Hernandez will have a great year. Murray can be a top 5 RB sans injury

I would jump on this deal every day of the week....

Hernandez should post similar #'s to Gronk (if not better this season IMO)

so your getting a great RB in Murray for "Free" almost and since you need help in that area then that's a win WIN for you....congrats m8!

Thanks guys! I'm going to have to drop an RB to make room. Would you drop Spiller or Jennings? I've thought of hanging on to Jennings because of the MJD situation

If I keep Spiller, he will qualify as a keeper.

If I keep Rashad Jennings, I can use him in a possible trade. The owner of MJD also owns Charles, so having Jennings and Hillis might be advantageous for me to work a trade with him in the future.

I really like that trade for you. I think Hernandez is in for a big year and you need the RB depth
