Amendola or Mike Willilams? WHIR 100%

Postby MAXIMIS » Sat Sep 01, 2012 10:04 am

I drafted them both then dropped Amendola to pick up J.Dwyer on a flyer. Want to keep Dwyer for now but having second thoughts about Amendola. He's still available but I know he'll be picked up tonight if I don't grab him back (was already told that)... Only player I'm willing to drop is Mike Williams.

NON - PPR LEAGUE. M. Williams had a good camp, is ranked higher but is also #2 behind Vince Jackson and on a run-first O. Amendola was my sleeper pick..... is having a nice preseason (including a couple TD's) and is Sam Bradford's clear #1 target. I "like" Amendola better but the "rankings" disagree with me so I'm gonna check with the boyz here.....

If it were ppr, I would def go with Amendola. Although, I think it's closer then a lot of rankings have it, as you said Tampa is run first, I feel like its a coin flip, I personally like Amendola better.

Mike Williams value has always come from scores, he's never really been a yardage WR. Everyone said he was a bust last year, but he was getting similar yardage just no scores.

Thanks for your help on mine.....

I'd keep Amandola, in fact I'm getting ready to pick him up on the WW muself as my WR#4. For me it's because he's the clear #1 WR of a better pass oriented team (SL) and a better passing QB (Bradford).

I like Amendola alot this year. Before he got hurt last year, he was Bradford's #1 target and had been the year before as well. Amendola is a poor man's Wes Welker!

Ok picking Amendola back up. Thanks guys. That's what my gut said. Dropping Williams... someone will snag him but I only have to start 2 WR's with an option to start a 3rd at flex so I'm not that concerned with keeping Williams he'd be a WR6 (1.Megatron, 2.Maclin, 3.Britt, 4.Floyd, 5.Amendola).... Just wanted to get opinions on who is likely the better roster-spot at WR... Rather have 5RB/5WR and Dwyer is a flyer with upside at RB, than be wrong and risk missing the possible starting Pittsburgh RB for 1/2 the season when I have MJD holding out on my bench. Thanks guys good luck!
