Trades or stay put?? **WHIR**

Postby prophecy135 » Sat Sep 01, 2012 10:14 am

Here is my current roster in my 12 team ppr:

QB: Vick, Cutler
RB: Foster, Murray, Smith, Spiller, Tate, Jennings, Williams
WR: Ju. Jones, Brown, Johnson, Garcon
TE: Gates

I really want some AJ Green, and that owner also happens to own MJD. So I was thinking these two deals, one to get AJ, the other to fill in positions vacated by the first.

Trade 1:
I get: Green, Wilson ( I may have to ask for Fred Davis instead of Wilson depending on owner in 2nd trade)
I give: Gates, Jennings

Trade 2:
I get: Hernandez and maybe P. Thomas
I give: S. Johnson, K. Smith, CJ Spiller (here is where Fred Davis might have to go instead of Spiller, or I could ask for Amendola as well as PT and Hernandez)

My question is, do these make me better, or am I just trying to make a trade to make a trade?

Thanks for looking, leave a link!

I honestly think unless you can grab a big advantage you should stay put. Maybe try a Brown/Jennings for Green. I love Gates (finally) this year. Would not give him up... Problem with Jennings is he'll likely only be good for 1/2 weeks. I have MJD too and am not concerned with picking up Jennings but I piled my RB's on early to prepare for the holdout stuff. Would have grabbed Jennings but some d-bag in my league took him in early round 8... but as an MJD owner I do wish I'd have gotten him on board late in the draft so there is some value to him RIGHT NOW. Now is the time to strike with a Jennings proposal if Ur gonna do it.
