2rb 2wr R/W flex

Postby k_dubya » Sun Sep 02, 2012 11:41 am

i have to pick 2 rb and 2 wr and a flex of rb/wr

Marshawn Lynch, Demarco Murray, Steven Jackson, Stevan Ridley, Rashad Jennings. are my rb

Hakeem nicks, Brandon Marshall, vincent jackson, stevie Johnson

rb scores
1 pt per 10 yards.
td=6pts with 3pt bonus at 25-40 yds and another 3pts if the td is longer than 40 yards.

wr scores
1 pt per 10 yds receiving
td=6 its with 3pts bonus for 25-40 yds and another 3pts if the td is longer than 40 yards.
return yards get 1 pt for 15 yards and td are worth 9 pts.

Beast Mode for sure.

DeMarco showed he was very talented last year, but has a small sample size and seems to be injury prone. For game 1 however, he should come out and be very solid.
Ridley has proven to be NE's top back, but then again they are a pass heavy team with multiple red zone targets, so his upside is limited.
Jennings has the go ahead to start game 1, but that role won't last long. He might be looking to prove something, but it's still high risk.

for WR's it's pretty simple. Nicks remains Eli's number 1 despite Cruz sapping his value. V Jax is a machine but he has Josh Freeman throwing to him so you can't expect fireworks, but know V Jax is a helluva WR.
Stevie Johnson showed that Revis was human and put up a spectacular performance, so there could be some upside.

tl;dr Marshawn/Murry
Nicks/V Jax
for the flex I can tell you I would run Jennings, but Stevie or Ridley could surprise you.

I'd go with:

RB: Lynch/Murray
WR: Nicks/Marshall
Flex: VJax or Stevie

Take a look at mine?

I would go with Lynch and Murray at rb - Lynch and Murray are studs who you need to play on a weekly basis barring injury

Nicks and Marshall at wr - once again your 2 stud wrs who should be starting every week

and I would flex Jennings - who I believe should be getting the majority of the carries at least for this game

Thanks for the help with mine

RBs def murray and lynch
WR def Nicks and marshall

the flex is where it gets messy, id actualy go SJAX

i feel vjax is overrated or alteast he proves he can do it with freeman
i like stevie johnson and he does do well against revis but i think sjax will be solid

I feel like youve gotten a general consensus on who to start for RB and WR. Flex I say go with Rashad. Stevie will be going up against Revis so i would avoid him. Rashad has a nice matchup vs the vikings.
