Dwyer is an interesting choice, but I wouldn't start him right off the bat... unless Tomlin names him starter over Redman. For now they'll probably split carries, which means.. no thanks to both! I'd take a chance with Alfred Morris. Shanahan is a nightmare to fantasy football, but when he chooses a RB to feature, that RB doesn't split time with another back and usually puts up great numbers. Yeah Morris has competition, but if he is named starter you gotta go with him... maybe wait for the official announcement first..
QB - Drew Brees, Tony Romo RB - Adrian Peterson, Trent Richardson, Alfred Morris, Jacquizz Rodgers WR - Brandon Marshall, Julio Jones, Vincent Jackson, Anquan Boldin, Golden Tate TE - Heath Miller DEF - Rotating K - Justin Tucker
I would probably choose Dwyer over Morris just because shannahan will use both rb relatively equally until one wins the feature job. I am seriously tempted to choose Dustin Keller since this is a ppr league and both rb you have may only get 10-15 touches in the game. Barring a huge break off run I don't see them putting up a ton of pts.
10 team 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF P Manning, RG3 A Foster, CJ Spiller, B Tate, V Ballard, D Williams D Thomas, J Nelson, Mike Wallace, Cecil Shorts, Danario Alexander, D Heyward-Bey J WItten Janikowski 49ers
if Dwyer or Morris are named starters for week 1...pick them.
But If not, im swinging for the fence with Mike Williams. I think he could be in for a bounce back year, and with VJax getting alot of attention, could see him getting a few grabs with decreased coverage and is a better redzone threat than Jax.
Sorry man, but that is rough. Like the others said, I would wait as long as possible to decide this. I do like whoever PITT ends up starting though over the mess in WAS, that may never be settled.
I don't love any of the RB choices because of the perviously stated time share probability. Not to mention Pitt is playing Manning and crew in Denver, and you know Manning is going to want to come out huge. That has the potential to be a shoot out. Morris is going up against the Saints, who also have a chip on their shoulder and lets face it Brees will throw for a ton of points. The skins will also be abandoning the run by the 3rd quarter. Keller would be a great choice if the coaching staff in NY wasn't sniffing glue.
By default I would take a shot with Williams. The Bucs have the Panthers and that could get a little high scoring with Newton and company. The Panthers will also put Gamble on Vjax leaving either Norman, Hogan or Cap on williams. He is gonna get looks and targets. 2 years ago he was a great option, last year he fell off but so did the entire team. I see a rebound, starting with week 1
