Going for repeat in Standard 10 team big money league*WHIR**

Postby pommona22 » Sun Sep 02, 2012 3:05 pm

Hey guys just finished my draft dont know how i feel about all my players this year, so many times a player i wanted got snagged by last years runner up. I got 9th overall. Anyways here is my roster:

10 team standard league: Start 1qb 2rb 2wr 1 flex
QB: Brees
RB: DMC, Ryan Matthews, Hillis, Spiller, David Wilson, Ryan Williams
WR: Julio, Percy Harvin, Torrey Smith, Jon Baldwin
TE: Gates
D: Jets

Have also a couple of guys who would be relevant if rb1 got hurt: Daniel Thomas and Robert turbin..overall i think early i drafted real well but as rounds went deeper i couldn't get the players i wanted..anyways any input would be great and as always WHIR 100%.
Thanks guys

I don't dislike it that's for sure. looks like your first 4 rounds went really well with DMC, Matthews, Brees, and Julio (not sure which order) So i really like that especially for the 9 spot. but yea after that I'm not super excited, I don't know where you drafted whom so its hard to tell were it went wrong, and that's not to say it is wrong... I'm just not thrilled with our bench production after say the 5th round.

I think Percy Harvin is underrated and will have a good year so I like him as long as it was in round 6 or later, if it was 5 I think you reached a bit, I really like Torrey smith so good pickup there. Gates is always solid but he's more of a question mark this year even if he is healthy. Hillis is good value and I think will produce Ben Tate like numbers with a few more goaline scores, after that its kinda bleh, don't mind the Baldwin late flyer pick

I kinda concur with your thoughts. it looks good but I have an uneasy feeling about it

I like your team a lot.

QB- Brees might be the top qb this year- excellent.

Rb- McFadden if he stays healthy is gold. Mathews could be good but Hillis & Spiller is are good backups while your waiting. Love D Wilson pick. He looks like a star if bradshaw goes down.

Wr- Love Julio Jones this year. Harvin is good and i like Torrey Smith as a sleeper this year too.

TE- Gates is a solid pick & good value.

D- Jets defense is good too. Any defense with Revis is good imo.

Overall very solid. Without seeing the other teams I'd say you're in title contention- probably the preseason favorite- as long as DMC stays healthy. Please rate my team.
