Well, both can be pretty impressive on paper. I wish this would translate into real life.
Rivers didn't really have a great first half of the season last year. He threw for 0 or 1 TD in his first 8 games. While he began to make up for it the last half of the season, he went interception happy.
With V Jax gone, emphasis on Matthews and a 32 year old Gates.. it's not looking good. But in the past Rivers has wowed us all.
Romo (on paper) is ridiculous. And given his record against the Giants last year - 321 yards, 4 touchdowns, 0 interceptions in week 14, and 280 yards, 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions in week 17 shows he can produce. But the Giants have a nasty pass rush, and it is a rival game so emotions are high.
tl;dr Romo.
For the RB situation, Bush might only see goal line oppotunities if Forte is healthy. There's no telling Forte's workload as it is week one. I would imagine Forte will get a healthy amount of carries.
For the WR's, I'd say Smith. Deep threat, young, fast and has a QB with a rocket arm who loves to hit him down field. Decker wouldn't be a bad choice either.
