8-team PPR...WHIR (A lot!)

Postby SirGrotius » Mon Sep 03, 2012 10:14 am

First, PPR league, .5 PR. Everything else is standard, except passing TDs are also 6 points.

QB: Newton
RBs: Arian Foster, Doug Martin, BJGE, (K.Smith, Jennings, Ryan Williams, Ben Tate)
WRs: Julio Jones, B.Marshall, S.Smith, (Crabtree, Hayward-Bey)
TE: Gronkowski
K: Henry

We do IDP, but don't have to worry about that here.

Thoughts to improve, otherwise?
10 rushing yards - 1 pt
10 receiving yards - 1 pt
20 passing yards - 1 pt
All TDs - 6 pts (QBs favored)

It's always tough to critique 8-teamers because they're always stacked, as your team is. But here's my attempt at being super picky: I'd try and trade for a better QB - Cam's value isn't that high in a 6pt passing league. Gronk/Julio/Marshall will take you to the championship, as they're all PPR gold.

Thanks for commenting on mine.

Great looking team, should definitely make the playoffs. The only weakness I see is in your RB depth. So keep an eye on the FA/WW for potential help there. You have some guys who could break out on the bench tho with Kevin Smith, Ryan Williams, and Ben Tate.

Looks good. I would just keep an eye open for sleepers you can pick up week to week but you have solid starters all around.
