Bad QB Competition

Postby Lsquad » Tue Sep 04, 2012 12:59 pm

So I'm in a 16 team league where I was the last owner to get a QB, leaving me with Fitzpatrick as my only option post-draft. I was able to snag Wilson off waivers after he won the seattle job. Who would you start: the veteran who started off on fire last year before he cracked his ribs, or the talented rookie who was overlooked in the draft because of his height, but has had a killer preseason?

Fitzpatrick. At least he has proven he can produce during a game that matters.

I'd go with Wilson on week one. Fitzpatrick is throwing against the Jets secondary which you know isn't fun to throw against. Plus Wilson will still be adding up a few rushing points for you as well.

i think i'd go with Fitzpatrick and just hope he really is good and was just hampered by the rib thing late last season. no way i'd start a rookie in his first start. He hasn't even seen a legit defensive game-plan yet.
