An offer in League 1 has one of my opponents offering me Stafford and AJ Green for Rivers and Steve Jackson.
We are a 12 team non-PPR league. I think for a 12 team league I got quite a good line up with the weakness at QB. Although it seems Rivers may not be such a bad option after all. Should I give the first week a trial run or give up Steve Jackson in order to get Stafford right now since he is obviously looking to add some strength at RB?
I'd do it. This trade will give you a huge boost at QB, and you'll be stacked at WR with Megatron/Green/Harvin and Britt should return to form. After you do this, I would look to get another RB, since that becomes somewhat of a weakness for you with Bradshaw always dealing with something.
If all TDs are 6 (including QBs) then that's a huge incentive to do the trade. It makes Stafford that much more valuable than Rivers.
I'd probably do it anyway even if QB TDs are 4 points. Just from a simple value standpoint: The difference between Stafford and Rivers is much more significant than the difference between Steven Jackson and AJ Green.
As burritoboy said though, you may want to look for another RB after this, because RB depth becomes a huge issue now. I love Forte, I don't love Bradshaw, and the rest that you have is not pretty. Your WR is outstanding though now with Megatron and AJ Green, and Britt and Percy.
