Not exactly. Cheifs have two AFC losses, NE only has one. CHiefs have no more AFC games (what a scheduling quirk!) so....lets assume for a second that NE loses to the Bills, they finish 13-3, 10-2 in the AFC

Then assume that KC loses @ Minnesota, and beats the other two patsies, they finish 13-3, also 10-2 in the AFC.

#3 is common opponents, if NE loses vs. BUFF then both teams are 4-1 against common opponents.

So, tie breakers, #1, #2, and #3 are all tied still (H2H, AFC, common opp.)....#4 is strength of vitory.

Right now, NE has a % of .552 and KC is .385 I believe, and that wont improve much playing who they play.

SO NE would have homefield based on a #4 tiebreaker

How is that for controversey!

Now if KC wins out and NE loses one its a moot point...I hope they will...Minnesota will be tough but we have won in BALT, GB, so KC should have an ugly W.

Interestingly enough... I think KC matches up against NE the best, even IN New England. You don't have to worry about KCs run defense if they were playing NE. Also, I think the snow would really benefit KC and that huge offensive line they have. If KC plays NE in the AFC title game and it's snowing, expect a win from KC and a big game from Larry Johnson.

Didn't you just take a long time to say what I had already said? That NE needs to lose one and KC needs to win out?
