10 team league, non-ppr here is my starters and bench. I'm kind of in a mess with my RB/WR and RB option with Kevin Smith and Torrey Smith. Is what I have good or would you switch it up a bit?
QB Tom Brady, NE QB RB Michael Turner, Atl RB RB Kevin Smith, Det RB RB/WR Torrey Smith, Bal WR WR Greg Jennings, GB WR WR Marques Colston, NO WR TE Jimmy Graham, NO TE D/ST Lions D/ST D/ST K Adam Vinatieri, Ind K
Bench: DeAngelo Williams, Car RB Ryan Fitzpatrick, Buf QB Coby Fleener, Ind TE Kendall Wright, Ten WR Austin Collie, Ind WR Sidney Rice, Sea WR Rashard Mendenhall, Pit RB
Thanks! My thought was that Torrey Smith would be WR1 this week and DeAngelo will split carries. But you might be right that he will get more numbers at the end of the day. You think Kevin Smith will be ok? My WR's are solid but my RB's are iffy.
I think you should stick to how you have it. Rushing TD's are going to be hard to come by on that team with Newton, Stewart and Tolbert to contend with. Smith plays a weak Bengals secondary (and that's hard for me to say since i'm a Bengals fan) and I think he will have a big night on Monday.
I like Torrey Smith, so you are probably fine. But Stewart is not supposed to play, which leaves Williams with all the carries. Tough call, but I'd go with Williams. Or start Williams over Kevin Smith.
(10 person league, H2H, standard yahoo scoring) QB: Ben Roethlisberger RB1: Arian Foster RB2: Jamaal Charles WR1: Hakeem Nicks WR2: Demaryius Thomas Flex: Alex Greene TE: Tony Gonzalez PK: Jason Hanson TD: New York Giants
I say D WILLY over Kevin Smith if Stewart is out. If he is in then I would go with what you have there. Unless you wanted to get sneaky and start Wright because I think the Pats got better up front but not so much in the secondary... and I am a die-hard pats fan. I think you have to play D WILLY if JSTEW is out... no brainer. if JSTEW is in then you have no choice but K Smith. but at flex I would go Torrey for sure.
Keep it the way you have it. even though stewart is out, Newton will be the leading rusher and tolbert will get rushing td in the red zone.. always go with ur gut. anything can happen...
If Jonathan Stewart is out, I'd put DeAngelo in the Flex spot. Don't worry about Kevin Smith this week, the matchup vs the Rams is nice and juicy!! However, after this week if DeAngelo or Smith have a big game maybe try to package one of them for an upgrade at RB!
I say leave as is. The people you have have nice matchups. Web though DWill is tempting because Stewart is out, I fear he won't get nearly as many touches as he should since you have Tolbert there. Not to mention that Cam himself isn't afraid to run it.
