Week 1: RB and WR starters

Postby Cali Redneck » Wed Sep 05, 2012 8:48 pm

Most of my starters are pretty much set for this week, but I need some suggestions for a couple positions. Pick one from each list.

#3 WR: Robert Meachem vs OAK, Denarius Moore vs SD, or Kendall Wright vs NE

#2 RB: DeAngelo Williams vs TB, Willis McGahee vs PIT, or Maurice Jones-Drew vs MIN

Moore is injured... Meachem will have a lot more touches because Vincent Brown is out..
Wright might be solid but they will face New England's improved defense..
I would go Meachem.

Williams will get more carries cuz stewart is out.

The RB's pretty easy, with Jonathan Stewart most likely out, you have to go with DeAngelo. Top 10 upside for the week.

The WRs a little bit tougher though. Here's how the cumulative rankings have them:

Meachem 37.25
Moore 35.75
Wright 41

That being said, in a PPR, with Moore a little banged up and Meachem struggling with getting on track with Palmer, I'm almost inclined to roll with Wright against NE's defense. They're most likely going to be playing from behind and throwing a lot, and with Britt out, Wright's the #2 guy behind Washington.
